Breast Augmentation, also known as breast enlarging is one of the most popular plastic operations among women. Breast augmentation is a safe choice for those who are not pleased with the look of their breasts.

In What Cases Can Breast Augmentation Be Performed?
Women who think that their breasts are small may need this surgery to correct the body ratio, particularly hip-to-chest. Breast increases can occur as the breasts decrease during pregnancy following pregnancy. The breast lift could occur in some cases and be preferred for such cases.
-
- If the size of the breasts is asymmetric, enlargement may be preferable. To have a little asymmetry is very common, but if the patient is not satisfied, her breast increase could match its size.
-
- It can be carried out in some cases to repair breasts, e.g., inherently loss of breast tissue after breast cancer.
-
- Prothesis implants which were previously inserted may be worn out or complications inside the breast can arise, in which case a new breast-enhancement procedure may take place.

What are the Techniques for Breast Augmentation Surgery?
There are 2 main techniques to perform Breast Augmentation surgery:
-
- Breast augmentation with fat transfer
- Breast augmentation with implants

Breast Augmentation with Fat Injection
Breast enlargement fat injection is a common choice for those who do not want silicone implants. To do this, the patient should have excess body fat that is extracted by liposuction to be inserted into the breasts. The corpse fat is centrifuged and removed until the liposuction is obtained. The useful component is inserted into the breast with the segregated fat. This body fat, which is centrifuged and rich in mother cells, has a beneficial effect on skin quality after it has been injected.
Since part of the injected fat is naturally consumed, 50-60% of the injected part is retained in the breast and its proportion increases.
The effect of fat injection can decrease in time because the injected fat can be absorbed. It is not possible for all breast styles. Patients must be overfat removed, and fat injection is not the most suitable procedure if they wish to have elevated breasts. Therefore, implants for strong breast enlargement are more common.

The Healing Process After Breast Enlargement
It takes about 1-2 hours for the breast implant operation. On or after the day of the procedure, the patient can be released. It takes two days to recover. Not too much pain occurs in patients, but a rare sensation of having a full breast may bother before the patient becomes comfortable with it. The patient may have moderate swelling for the first two days, but the swelling may decrease with time. The movement will cause a small amount of pain within the first few days of the implant underneath the muscle. The incision has a small bandage and the patient wears his sports bra to put pressure on this bandage. Without removing the bandage, 3 days after surgery patients will take a shower. Patients will return to normal life in 3-4 days. In order to prevent any potential harm related to movement, the patient should be kept away from physical activities for 2 months.
